RMPC contracts are the bread and butter for majority of the rural, remote and regional Councils.
Routine maintenance works by the department are carried out under Road Maintenance Performance Contracts (RMPC), delivered primarily through sole invitee arrangements.
A contractor acts as the network manager and operations contractor for work on the network and provides a stewardship role.
